Sandy Beach Motel is now a Smoke Free Property

At the annual meeting of the owners of Sandy Beach Motel Ltd., it was decided unanimously that Sandy Beach Motel become a smoke free property effective June 1, 2007. It was felt that this decision represents the interests of all our guests to be able to enjoy a smoke free environment while vacationing at our resort.

For those guests who are smokers, these are the changes you will experience:
Smoking will be limited to an area of the property in the garden near the entrance to the parking lot, where we will build an attractive gazebo. Here you will find comfortable seating surrounded by trees, flowers and grass. Smoking will no longer be permitted outside of your suite or on our beach.

We encourage our guests to share their memories with others at Sandy Beach. If you have a favorite photo or two, please send it to us via email. We will put it on the website in a future photo gallery.

We have also completed our Barbeque facility in our gazebo, as well as two new natural gas barbeque stations elsewhere on the property. For our handicapped visitors,  we have extended a sidewalk to the beach.
